Tree-lined entrance road to El Chantre estate in Ronda, Málaga, with sunflower fields, cypress trees and a hilltop castle surrounded by Picual olive groves

The Origin of Excellence

In the 19th century, Cristóbal Becerra acquired the El Chantre estate and planted the olive trees that still define its landscape today. Now in its fourth generation, the estate is carefully managed by María Luz Becerra, who continues to preserve and elevate its legacy with dedication and care.

Oro Al-Andalus Estate

Located in the mountainous surroundings of Ronda, El Chantre spans over 130 acres, where nearly 10,000 Picual olive trees grow alongside the natural rhythm of the land. The altitude, climate and terrain create unique conditions that shape the character of the estate and its production.

Rooted in tradition and guided by respect for its environment, El Chantre represents a balance between heritage and precision — a place where the identity of our extra virgin olive oil begins.
